Terms of Service

PriceITT is operated by RedXDigitals, a business registered in Trinidad & Tobago. These terms are the agreement between you and RedXDigitals ("we", "us") for your use of the PriceITT website and services. By using PriceITT you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use PriceITT

You must be at least 13 years old. If you create an account you agree to give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and take responsibility for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into it.

2. Prices are information, not offers

This is the most important part of these terms. Prices shown on PriceITT come from shoppers, from receipts, and from stores themselves. We review submissions and record when each price was seen, but we cannot guarantee that any price is current, complete or correct.

• A price on PriceITT is not an offer to sell, and does not bind the store in any way.
• Stock, promotions and prices change without notice, and can differ between branches.
• Always check the shelf and your receipt. If there's a difference, the price you are charged at checkout is the one that counts.
• Trip planning, distances and estimated totals are convenience features, offered as estimates only.

We are not responsible for a wasted journey, a missed special, or a difference between a price you saw here and the price you paid. If you spot something wrong, please report it — that's how the catalog gets better.

3. What you contribute

When you submit a price, product, receipt, review or recipe, you keep ownership of it. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, publish it as part of our catalog, and use it to improve our price data — including after you close your account, for anything already published. You confirm that:

• Your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge and reflects a price you actually saw.
• You have the right to submit it, and it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
• It contains nothing unlawful, misleading, abusive or defamatory.

We moderate submissions and may edit, reject or remove anything at our discretion — including deliberately false prices posted to make a store look better or worse.

4. Rules of use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-copy our catalog, or use automated tools to hammer the service.
• Submit prices you know to be false, or otherwise manipulate the comparisons.
• Try to break, probe or get around our security, rate limits or access controls.
• Impersonate a store, a member of staff, or another person.
• Use the service for anything unlawful, or resell it without our written permission.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and may remove content without notice where the harm is immediate.

5. Store listings and deals

Being listed is free. Stores that verify their listing can manage their own details, opening hours, catalog and deals, and are responsible for keeping that information accurate and lawful.

Stores may pay to feature a deal for greater visibility. Featured placements are always labelled as such. Paying never changes where a store appears in a price comparison — those rankings are based on price alone, and are not for sale. Advertising arrangements are subject to their own separate agreement.

6. Our content

The PriceITT name, logo, design, software and the structure of our standardised catalog belong to us. You may use the service for your own shopping, personal or business; you may not copy our catalog wholesale, or reuse our branding, without written permission. Supermarket names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used to identify those stores.

7. Third-party links and services

We link to store websites and use third-party mapping and scanning services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices.

8. Service availability

We provide PriceITT free of charge and "as is". We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We'll give reasonable notice before retiring something you rely on where we can.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RedXDigitals is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost savings, lost profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the service or from reliance on any price shown. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to TT$500 or the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months, whichever is greater.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using PriceITT and delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — contributions already published, limitation of liability, and governing law — continue to apply afterwards.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights we'll give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use PriceITT after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, and the courts of Trinidad & Tobago have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
