PriceITT is a free price-comparison tool for shoppers in Trinidad & Tobago. Put together a list, and we'll show you what each item costs at supermarkets around you — and where the whole basket comes to the least.

Why we built it

Anyone who shops here already knows the same tin of milk can differ by several dollars between two groceries a few minutes apart. Knowing that in advance meant calling around, keeping mental notes, or simply guessing. Meanwhile the cost of a weekly shop kept climbing.

PriceITT exists to make that difference visible before you leave the house, instead of after you've paid.

Where our prices come from

We don't invent numbers. Every price on the site comes from one of three places:

• Shoppers like you. Submit a price you saw on the shelf, or scan a receipt and let us read the prices off it automatically.
• Stores themselves. Supermarkets can claim their listing and upload their own catalog and specials, free of charge.
• Our own catalog work. We standardise brands, sizes and units so that a comparison is genuinely like-for-like — a 1 kg bag is never compared against a 500 g one.

Submitted prices are reviewed before they go live, and each one carries the date it was seen. Prices still change without warning, so treat what you see as a well-informed guide rather than a quote — the price you are charged at checkout is the one that counts.

How we stay honest

Rankings are never for sale. The cheapest price wins the comparison, full stop. Stores can pay to promote a deal, and when they do it is clearly labelled as featured — that placement buys visibility on the deals page, never a better position in a price comparison.

Who it's for

Anyone doing a grocery run in Trinidad & Tobago. It's free, there's no card to enter, and you don't need an account to start — make a list and see your total right away. Creating an account saves your lists, keeps your receipts and spending history, and lets you share a list with whoever else is shopping.
